Hi everyone! My name is Sarah, and I am in my second year of my PhD. I'm in the Keillor lab working on the design, synthesis, and testing of possible TG2 inhibitors. In my free time I like reading and cooking. I was GSAED representative in my first year on CBGSA and President last year. I am looking forward to coming back as President for the upcoming year

Jerry Diener
Events coordinator
I'm a first-year MSc student in the Beauchemin Lab, where my research focuses on developing a second-generation NCO linchpin reagent for the synthesis of carbamates, ureas, and amides. Outside the lab, I enjoy cycling, playing video games, and spending time outdoors. As one of the new CBGSA Event Coordinators, I'm looking forward to organizing summer BBQs and future events that bring the graduate student community together.

Gabriella Petizian
Events Coordinator
Hi everyone! My name is Gabriella and I am one of two events coordinators for the CBGSA this year! I am just finishing the first year of my M.Sc in the Newman Lab, focusing on achieving C-O and C-N bond activation of challenging ester and amide substrates. While outside of the lab, I love to bake, rock climb and paint pottery. I am excited for a great year ahead!
